In this post, we introduce you to Alejandra Pombo, an interior designer we love for her ability to mix neutral environments with powerful colours, design icons with natural textures and works of art with casual spaces. We love her, do you?
Alejandra Pombo has travelled a path of constant evolution in her career, thanks to a chameleon-like ability to combine apparently opposing elements. In her early days, she was inspired by the aesthetic vision of Pascua Ortega, who guided her in her first steps into the world of interior design, helping her to explore and refine her preferences. Together with him, she immersed herself for six years in an apprenticeship from which she emerged with a clear understanding of her tastes and the ability to incorporate them into a language of her own. Today, with more than a decade of experience, her work stands out for its luminosity, warmth and the creation of harmonious spaces, where aesthetics and functionality intertwine in a distinctive synergy.
For our protagonist, the phrase that ignites her motivation is simple but powerful: "Alejandra, this house is me". Her main goal is to reflect the essence and personality of her clients in every aspect of the design, be it the choice of furniture, colour palettes or arrangement of elements. She believes that an interior designer should play a key role as a consultant, adapting flexibly to the needs of her clients and leaving a personal mark on each project. To achieve this, her spaces incorporate elements such as combined natural textures, powerful volumes and a generous presence of light. In this regard, in an interview in AD magazine, Alejandra also emphasises their fearless, adaptable and versatile nature: "We have the ability to adapt to different styles, that's why they choose us. We devote a lot of energy to this premise". A circumstance that explains why we trusted her to be in charge of the interior design of Nolita, our large residential project designed by Óscar Miguel Ares and G-33 in Valladolid.
Although she has specialised in the design of private residences, Alejandra has signed renowned projects, including outstanding restaurants such as Fismuler, where she co-designed with Arquitectura Invisible a space based on austerity and simplicity, as well as her contribution to Grupo Paraguas' Numa Pompilio and the creation of interiors for the popular Lateral chain. In the same line, a crucial moment in his career came with the Grupo Vincci, when he collaborated in the design of one of its hotels, marking a significant turn in his trajectory.
All this without forgetting ambitious gastronomic projects, such as Fayer and T22, in Madrid, and El Cuartel del Mar, in Chiclana de la Frontera. From an early age, Alejandra was clear about her true vocation, and fortunately, she has managed to turn her passion into her profession. When asked about her aspirations, her response is immediate: "That every day is a challenge". An attitude that further defines her profile and demonstrates an eagerness to excel that has taken her to the top of interior design in Spain.
