MIMA's design goes beyond its avant-garde aesthetics. Seen from the street, the structure becomes a sculpture and emerges on the outside as a sign of identity without losing its architectural function. Between the first façade, conceived as a great brise soleil, and the second, conceived as the true skin of the building, the architects create a third space: an open-air threshold that gradually connects each dwelling with the city.
